Bredenbury Court Barns Wedding Photography

Why is IT a great wedding venue for photography?

About Bredenbury Court Barns

Bredenbury Court Barns is a gorgeous, exclusive-use Manor House and barn in the heart of Ledbury which is between Worcestershire and Herefordshire. This wedding venue is without a doubt, one of the best I've visited for natural light. You can tell they've really considered how their space looks no matter what the weather is doing. There's accommodation on-site for up to 180 guests, and there are private cottages you can stay in for prep, whilst the bridal suite on site is being cleared from the previous day which are super spacious and the grounds are amazing.

So if you're looking for a Bredenbury Court Barns wedding photographer, or perhaps you're considering Bredenbury to be your wedding venue, this page is for you. We'll be going through all the main spaces at the venue, how they work for your wedding photos and discussing some insider tips to consider when planning your wedding day!

Why do I love photographing weddings at BREDENBURY COURT BARNS?

I feel absolutely spoilt as a Hereford wedding photographer when I am booked for a wedding at Bredenbury Court Barns. It's also one of those rare cases where I don't even feel the need to check the weather because their plan B indoor option is actually just as nice as their outdoor options.

The light inside the Orangery is absolutely beautiful for ceremonies, while the Oak Barn's floor-to-ceiling glass lets the Herefordshire countryside become part of the backdrop. When you step outside and you've got sweeping views, gorgeous gardens and endless countryside, which means we never have to wander far for beautiful portraits. Although if you're willing to wander further down the path there are some incredible rural sights. Whether you're having a sunny summer wedding or a cosy autumn celebration, every season brings something different, and it always photographs beautifully.

Whay type of couple should consider

getting married at Bredenbury Court Barns?

If you're dreaming of a relaxed countryside wedding with a rustic vibe but you still want your wedding photos to be bright and light, Bredenbury Court Barns is definitely worth a look.

It's perfect for couples who love the idea of an exclusive-use venue where everything happens in one place. You can get ready on-site, say your vows in the light-filled Orangery, celebrate in the stunning Oak Barn and dance the night away without anyone needing to leave. It has all the charm of a traditional barn wedding, but with a modern, elegant feel that works just as well for a black-tie celebration as it does for a laid-back, colourful wedding.

It's also a brilliant choice if you want incredible food, no corkage, beautiful countryside views and plenty of accommodation for your closest family and friends to stay over. It's also an amazing option if you want to get married during autumn or winter when the weather is less predictable.

Insider Tips for couples getting married at Bredenbury Court Barns ...
When it comes to prep, when you get moved to the 'beauty booth' try to leave the majority of your 'stuff' in the cottages. This means you'll have a nice clean backdrop for your formal prep photos which often happen last which really elevates your images.

For your ceremony, be aware that guests who are on the side closest to the window will be in full sun if it's a bright day. So any guests who you really want to see in photos, place them on the side closest to the wall.

For your couple photos, if you allow a little more time, we can walk down the drive to get to a little lake and long grass areas which are gorgeous for photos. It's a little more of a walk - but worth it!
