One thing I will say here though is that choosing your wedding photographer should be one of the biggest decisions you make. So to help you decide if we might be a perfect fit, here are some things I look for in my couples. Now, I hate the term ‘ideal client’ it sounds like a dating ad. But let me be clear, my ideal client is in no way determined by how they look, dress, their religion or sexuality. A human is perfect. What all my couples do have in common, is they’re all kind and down-to-earth people who completely trust me to capture their day whilst they focus on having a fantastic wedding and a jolly good time!
This page, is here to help you find out all the important parts that come with booking your wedding photographer. I like to keep things up front here, no hidden fees, no confusing processes. What you see is what you get.
It's true, I take on significantly less weddings that other wedding photographers you might come across. For me, it comes down to the importance I place on building relationships with couples. I don't want your wedding to be a number in my diary.
I want to be there for you when you need a chat, to get to know you as people and have the energy and time to bring everything I've got to your wedding day. For me, keeping my wedding numbers smaller, allows me to do this without burn out. It also allows me to turn around wedding galleries more quickly. The better we get to know each other, the more it'll feel like I'm just another guest - but with a camera.
The heart of wedding photography lies in the stories it can tell. Moments which otherwise would be lost in time. It captures people, and who they are at their core, immortalising them at that time of their life in a single image. My own children pour over our photo albums filled with photos of us. It helps them to remember but also to be a part of memories which happened before they joined our family.
I know how important wedding photos are, so I take my role as a wedding photographer very seriously. I treat your family and your memories as if they were my own, handling them with care and getting to know people so I can capture them as they are. Being photographed can be a strange experience for many, but I make it my mission to make it a pleasurable experience for everyone - removing the fuss but keeping the fun.
I used to be a project manager for the miliary. So I know a thing or two about planning a big event. It all comes down to that forward planning, it can take time but it means the day itself runs so much more smoothly and the couple can just focus on enjoying it because their wedding team knows what needs to be done.
I work with my couples to help them plan their weddings wherever they need me. I send a HUGE client guide full of tips and tricks I've picked up along the way. We have check ins leading up to the wedding so see how they're doing and we also have a wedding timeline and planning call to go through all those little details and plans for the day so they can get the photos they want, but also have time to spend with family and friends, cutting the stressful parts of getting formal wedding photos on a tight schedule!
'Grace’s photos are incredible and everyone, including my other suppliers, were blown away with the final edits. She went over and above in getting to know us and what we wanted months before the big day. Then on the actual day it was just like having another wedding guest, I want to get married again just to work with her again. Highly recommend, she’s the best!’

Head over to my contact page, tell me as much about your wedding as you can and I'll be in touch within 48 hours!
I'll set up a discovery call for us to have a natter, and then closer to your wedding day, we'll have a timeline call to plan everything out.
I'll arrive usually about 2 hours before your ceremony (for full wedding day) and be there to help you in any way I can, and give you the very best experience!
I like to photograph weddings in a natural and candid way. Capturing your wedding, as it happened, and telling a story of the day through key portraits, little in-between moments and lots of natural interactions between you and your guests as they happen. So I guess in a lot of ways, I am a documentary style photographer, I like to blend in.
On the other hand, I do love a good couple portrait so this is where I do offer some light direction. Asking you to look ‘in love’ when you’ve never been in front of a camera before is a daunting thing, if I ask you to walk down there, or cuddle up - that’s such a normal thing to do but with subtle prompts we get your best selves. That - and my little speaker which I bring to every wedding to help create a mood. Trust me, it works.
I try to send previews within 24 - 48 hours and the full edited gallery is sent between 4 and 8 weeks after your wedding day. It often depends on whether we’re in peak wedding season as to if it’s towards the lower or higher part of that bracket. I’ll always give you a few days warning when your gallery is nearly ready too!
With my full day package, all travel is included within England. If you're further than 45 miles away and looking to book a half day wedding package, there will be a charge for a hotel stay and mileage but I can give you a quote for this after our call.
I do indeed! Public and professional liability insured with PolicyBee. I happily send over this information to any venues that require it too. In the unlikely occasion I was ever to be really unwell on your wedding day, I also have a pool of known and trusted photographers who I could call upon to step in if needed to photograph your day for me.
No, I'm afraid I can't hold anyone's wedding date without a signed contract and deposit. I also choose not to tell couples if there are other active enquiries for their wedding date as I don't like to pit couples against each other and rush anyone into a decision.
The copyright always remains with the wedding photographer, but couples have a personal license given to them which means you can produce, share and print your wedding photos as you like. The only thing you can't do, is use them for commercial purposes.
