wedding photos with personality

Hey, I'm Grace - your go to Hereford wedding photographer, with a strong knowledge of the area, local wedding venues, and amazing spots for engagement sessions I can help ensure everything run smoothly. I focus on those moments you're going to really want to remember, turning special memories into an online gallery you'll come back to for years to come. I like to be hands-on when it comes to photographing weddings, staying calm, continuously checking back in with you and staying organised with my trusty wedding spreadsheet while being confident shooting in different environments. So whether your wedding venue is a cosy barn, or an outdoor celebration - I've got it covered.

When it comes to the wedding experience I want to create, a lot of it revolves around getting to know you, making you feel comfortable from the moment I arrive during wedding preparations and keeping the emotion and storytelling aspects of your wedding day at the centre of my photos, so we avoid anything that looks cookie cutter or stiff. I also offer a complimentary engagement shoot with my full day package, so you can get more comfortable in front of the camera before I come to your wedding venue if you'd like me to. If you want to embrace the little moments as well as the big ones, if you want lots of photos of gorgeous candid moments and dream of golden hour portraits racing through fields in Herefordshire - I'm glad we met!

What is

Documentary Wedding Photography?

There are a lot of amazing Hereford wedding photographers out there and I'm so lucky to be able to call this area of outstanding natural beauty home. So a big part of your decision is likely going to come down to price (head on over to my info page for that) and who gives you those good vibes! I look to create a consistent editing style and storytelling across every wedding gallery so my couples know what they're getting. That's why I always send couples 3 full wedding albums straight after enquiry.

So, let me tell you a bit about me. First off, I have no ideal client when it comes to shape, size, religion or sexuality. As long as you're human, we're good! Instead, I usually work with couples who are looking for creative, documentary style wedding photos rather than heavily directed, more posed images. You want to have an incredible day, you're not too fussed about lists of formal family photos but you do want lots of absolutely beautiful wedding photos that tell your love story. The groom having a teary moment during a hug with his mum before your ceremony, your wedding dress hanging up before the day begins, and proper candid shots like your Nan laughing during speeches. Couple photos are something you love but you're quite happy to have a walk about for 20 mins rather than a flash photoshoot on the stairs, all captured in a natural way. If that sounds like a bit of you, it sounds like we'd be a perfect match.

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph weddings at some of Hereford’s most beautiful venues, here are a few of my absolute favourite Hereford wedding venues for photography.

Brinsop Court — One of the most romantic venues in Herefordshire. With its manor house, a moat (!) and loads of outdoor ceremony options. I love the character of the knot barn too.

Bredenbury Court Barns — A dream venue if you love a modern feel. The barns are light and airy with a modern aesthetic so you can put your stamp on it.

Shack Revolution — For couples wanting something fun, alternative and totally unique. Shack Revolution has an industrial vibe and it's right in the heart of the city. I LOVE the use of black in this space, really makes photos pop.

Dewsall Court — You can see the Herefordshire countryside for miles here. Dewsall Court has a romantic feel with lots of natural light. The outdoor ceremony space and fields nearby are perfect for sunset portraits.

Crumplebury — A modern, minimalist barn venue with beautiful natural light and neutral tones. Fill it with colour from your florals, or go for a monochrome vibe, there's so much you can do with it. Just outside of Worcestershire - it's a stunning venue.

Herefordshire has so many amazing wedding venues, and there's so many more I've yet to explore! Wherever you're going to get married, I'd love to hear more!
