Natural & romantic storytelling

Cotswolds wedding photographer

Hi, I’m Grace, a wedding photographer living right on the Worcestershire and Cotswolds border which means I get to spend most weekends soaking up all those honey-stone villages, rolling hills and the dreamiest wedding venues that feel like they're straight out of a Hallmark movie.

If you’re planning a Cotswolds wedding and you want photos that feel real, joyful and natural, you’re absolutely in the right place.

My approach is simple: I want your wedding photos to look and feel exactly how the day did,  full of laughter, emotion and the kind of moments that take you straight back to your wedding day when you look at them years later.

I work in a mostly documentary style, quietly capturing the natural flow of your day without too much posing. When it comes to couple portraits, I’ll give you a few light prompts so things feel relaxed and full of movement, nothing stiff or awkward, promise!

And editing-wise, I keep everything true to life: soft, warm tones that reflect the beauty of your venue and the colours of the day. No orange skin tones or super undersaturated greens here.

mini guide for top wedding venues in the

Cotswolds

Give me an elegant manor house or a marquee in your parents’ back garden and I’m in my element. I’m drawn to celebrations that feel personal to the couple, where the details reflect you rather than a set trend and really help to tell your story.

I am lucky enough to be surrounded by incredible wedding venues but to here are some of my favourite Cotswolds wedding venues, including:

  • Caswell House – timeless charm, dreamy light and those golden-stone walls. The gardens surrounding it are just gorgeous and the outdoor ceremony space looks as if you've eloped to an Italian villa.
  • Hyde House – airy, romantic, and perfect for relaxed portraits as it really private. I love the mix of old and new at this wedding venue, there's space for all your guests to stay and a beautiful, large wedding preparation space.
  • Elmore Court – absolute magic if you love modern elegance with history. The Gillyflower with it's huge sky light above is just the perfect setting for a wedding breakfast and dancing.
  • Tortworth Court – stunning grounds and gorgeous architecture. I've been lucky enough to stay here before and it's such a gorgeous venue with the orangery kept private for your wedding space. The grounds are also gorgeous in summer, or in snow!
  • Manor by the Lake – a total classic for elegant, storybook weddings. This venue looks like you're in your very own castle. I love the Maximilian room for a candel-lit wedding reception and the Italian Pavilion for an outdoor ceremony there.

If you’re planning your day at one of these spots (or anywhere nearby!), I’d love to hear about it.

mini guide for engagement sessions in the

Cotswolds

I love photographing couples in the Cotswolds. It’s a really pretty part of England and a great location for engagement photoshoots. I have a collection of favourite locations I use for my pre-wedding (engagement) photoshoots, here are a just a few of them.

BIBURY
A really cute Cotswolds town, complete with characteristic stone buildings and a really timeless historic feel. The home of Arlington Row (one of the most photographed streets in England) which is a really pretty backdrop for romantic couple photos. There are loads of great locations here for a lovely mix of photos.

BOURTON-ON-THE-WATER
Being a hugely popular area, the key to getting great engagement photos here is to arrive early. With the river Windrush running through it, and shallow enough for dip your toes into, Bourton-on-the-water is a super cute area with lots of cute independent shops and low bridges for you to explore.

STOW-ON-THE-WOLD
Surrounded by a rural landscape, this historic market town is a fab spot to potter around, looking inside all the little shops and surrounded by Cotswolds stone buildings. There’s a church there that dates back to the 11th century and inspired Tolkien to write part of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, so if you’re a fan, we can definitely pop over there too!

BROADWAY TOWER
If you love rolling green fields and epic views, Broadway Tower is a great option. There’s sheep grazing in the fields, long grass meadows and amazing views from the tower. I actually had my engagement shoot here! A wonderful place to go at golden hour to get that sunset look.

Just a few options for you there which are amazing places to go all year around, although there’s always places like Cotswolds Lavender fields if you’re after something more seasonal too. I’m always here to help you get the very most out of your session from location scouting to clothing styling tips to make your images pop.

WHY I LOVE THE COTSWOLDS FOR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

I'm a bit of a romantic, I love curling up watching The Holiday at Christmas, I binge every rom com series on Netflix as they pop up, I love to read a fantasy romance, so it's only natural I love to photograph weddings in one of the most storybook looking areas of the country.

There’s something special about the Cotswolds, the mix of countryside charm, elegant manor venues, and that golden evening light reflecting off the Cotswold stone buildings that makes everything look straight out of a painting.

I’ve spent years exploring this area, and I still get excited every time I drive past another chocolate-box village on my way to a wedding. It’s such a joy to photograph here.

Although I’m technically Worcestershire-based, I live right on the edge of the Cotswolds, so it’s super easy for me to travel to venues across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and beyond.

Whether you’re tying the knot in a Cotswolds manor, hosting a marquee in your family garden, or planning something a little different, I’m never far away and I'd love to hear from you.
