RELAXED & CANDID WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

I am a fun and informal Cotswolds wedding photographer for couples who want largely documentary style wedding photos, with the exception of some incredibly gorgeous couple portraits which look and feel like them.

I live just outside of the Cotswolds in a little city called Worcester so I'm lucky enough to be a short drive away from some gorgeous Cotswolds wedding venues. I also know some incredible local spots for engagement shoots which I'll clue you into below.

Hey, I'm Grace

Mama, Photographer and Wifey

I’m a natural wedding photographer based in Worcestershire, but I work all over the UK.

I’m a mama to two little girls, and own two cavapoos (so basically, kids and animals really don’t phase me when it comes to photography).
I’ve always been a hugely sentimental person and I’ve always had a camera in hand since doing little video diaries at the age of 8 (nope, there’s no WAY I’m ever going to show you them!).

My style is relaxed and mostly candid capturing your wedding in a way that is authentic to you and your day.

Relationship is everything to me. I like to really get to know my couples so they can feel totally at ease and themselves on the day. I want to be the extra member of your wedding party you never expected, but couldn’t have been without!

AREAS I often WORK IN

mini guide for top wedding venues in the

cotswolds

There are so many stunning wedding venues in the Cotswolds, and they’re all full of character and charm. Here’s a run down of some of my favourites, so whether you’re looking to host a lot of people, or have an elopement in the Cotswolds, there should be some great inspo!

EURIDGE MANOR
If you’re having more than 100 guests, you’ll be looking for one of the larger Cotswolds wedding venues to share your wedding day with your family and friends. Take a look at Euridge Manor. Ideal for weddings of up to 150 people and set in beautiful countryside with a large lake, it provides the option for boat couple photos and indoor or outdoor receptions in their perfectly manicured gardens.

CASWELL HOUSE
Thinking about a barn wedding, but want to ditch the orangey tones? Caswell House has all the rustic vibes of a barn wedding but with the most beautiful stone barn walls and gorgeous grounds for your guests and you to enjoy at cocktail hour. There’s also the option to have an outdoor ceremony in their courtyard where they have a beautiful arch which can be flowered to give all the romantic vibes.

MANOR BY THE LAKE
Based over in Cheltenham, and super easy to get to based just off the motorway, Manor by the Lake has a variety of options to choose from when it comes to weddings so whether you’d like a smaller wedding or a larger one, you can host your ceremony and reception in a number of places. With woodland areas, a gorgeous landscaped path up to the manor and a gorgeous Italian Pavilion you can say your nuptials at - it’s just dreamy. They also offer discounts to NHS and Military workers which is amazing!

HYDE HOUSE
I loved this venue from the moment I went to my cousin’s wedding which was hosted here. You’ve got the best of both worlds, there’s ‘The Grange’ which is a gorgeous open ceremony space area with a rustic looking exterior for your images, and the Barn which is a huge space for your reception, leading out into Hyde House’s gardens with ‘The Arbour’ which looks out over rolling fields, complete with grazing cows who pop their head over from time to time.

I could go on and on about how many gorgeous wedding venues there are in the Cotswolds from Blackwell Grange to Elmore Court but basically, it’s one of my favourite parts of the UK and if you give some of these a Google, you’ll totally understand why!

mini guide for engagement sessions in the

cotswolds

I love photographing couples in the Cotswolds. It’s a really pretty part of England and a great location for engagement photoshoots. I have a collection of favourite locations I use for my pre-wedding (engagement) photoshoots, here are a just a few of them.

BIBURY
A really cute Cotswolds town, complete with characteristic stone buildings and a really timeless historic feel. The home of Arlington Row (one of the most photographed streets in England) which is a really pretty backdrop for romantic couple photos. There are loads of great locations here for a lovely mix of photos.

BOURTON-ON-THE-WATER
Being a hugely popular area, the key to getting great engagement photos here is to arrive early. With the river Windrush running through it, and shallow enough for dip your toes into, Bourton-on-the-water is a super cute area with lots of cute independent shops and low bridges for you to explore.

STOW-ON-THE-WOLD
Surrounded by a rural landscape, this historic market town is a fab spot to potter around, looking inside all the little shops and surrounded by Cotswolds stone buildings. There’s a church there that dates back to the 11th century and inspired Tolkien to write part of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, so if you’re a fan, we can definitely pop over there too!

BROADWAY TOWER
If you love rolling green fields and epic views, Broadway Tower is a great option. There’s sheep grazing in the fields, long grass meadows and amazing views from the tower. I actually had my engagement shoot here! A wonderful place to go at golden hour to get that sunset look.

Just a few options for you there which are amazing places to go all year around, although there’s always places like Cotswolds Lavender fields if you’re after something more seasonal too. I’m always here to help you get the very most out of your session from location scouting to clothing styling tips to make your images pop.
