When it comes to how I edit your wedding photos, I like to keep things really true-to-life. You chose those colours for a reason, so you want your wedding photos to reflect the styling choices you made.
I also find, by keeping my editing style pretty natural, your wedding photos age better as there's no super trend led tones.
When it comes to people. I want your photos to reflect you as you actually are, no heavy 'filters' or body altering. That said, if you have a pesky spot that has JUST emerged in time for your wedding, I'm happy to remove any temporary blemishes if you'd like me to.

How I edit
When it comes to how I approach your wedding day, I want to make you feel comfortable, first and foremost. This is built around getting to know you as people, what you love, what's important to you and anything you're nervous about.
I work very collaboratively with my couples. You can fire me over inspo as you find it, I'll offer guidance on timelines and where certain photo ops might best sit, you can tell me your visions for the day and how posed vs candid you'd like to go - and I'll add notes to my spreadsheet for your wedding so I have a full view of what you want on the day.
No two weddings are the same, so I very much adapt to what my couples are planning.

I'm all about transparency when it comes to how I work. So when pricing is involved, I like to be super upfront on costs. That way you know exactly what you're getting, what the add-ons are (if you wanted them) and how much that costs. AND - you don't have to send out a single email to find that stuff out.

Investment
The
I first picked up a camera as a teenager, it started with a hot pink Sony Cybershot capturing my final years at school, then it evolved into a DSLR which I used for food photography which I did as a side hustle in my 20s.
As I got into a serious relationship with my (now) husband, I started to take a real interest in photographing couples. The way you get bottle their personalities and love for each other. It was so much more powerful than a selfie and I could bring that out for them to keep forever. What an incredible job.
When I'm not working weddings, I'm chasing after my two little girls, or two cavapoo pups (usually at the same time), and love exploring the countryside or reading the latest viral romantasy novel with a cuppa.
