The Wedding Prep areas
Okay, this bit is chef's kiss.
The first time I saw it, I actually did a little happy dance, because in five years of shooting weddings, I'd never seen a setup this clever.
The main prep suite is actually two rooms joined by a little corridor. Room one is your practical space - hair, makeup, dresses, all the getting-ready chaos lives here. Room two? Absolutely beautiful. Chaise lounge, a stunning four-poster bed, loads of natural light, and neutral interiors that feel classic rather than dated.
Why does this matter? Because you get somewhere to make the mess, and somewhere else that stays clear and camera-ready for final touches, reveals, and bridal portraits. No last-minute tidying, no clutter sneaking into shot - just two perfectly curated spaces working together for the best possible prep photos.
The Pergola - Eastington Park Outdoor Ceremony Space
If the weather's on your side, this outdoor ceremony space is an absolute must. Chairs lined up either side of the pergola, florals woven through to match your colour scheme, natural daylight doing all the hard work - it doesn't get much better for photos.
You'll walk the garden path down from the house to the ceremony space, with music playing you in. Being outdoors also means I can move around freely, without blocking guests' views or getting stuck in some awkward corner.
Once you're married, confetti happens right there on the lawn, then it's straight into cocktail hour. The whole thing flows beautifully from one moment to the next.
The Ballroom -Eastington Park Wedding Reception Space
You know the wedding reception rooms that feel a bit squashed, a bit gloomy? This isn't that.
The Ballroom is bright and open, with cream walls and panelling giving it character without losing that fresh, welcoming feel. Windows run along the side overlooking the garden, so if your guests fancy a go on the outdoor swing later, everyone inside gets a front-row seat. I've shot monochrome weddings and bold, colourful ones in here - both look stunning against this backdrop.
Quick tip for speeches: the top table can get a little backlit by the window, so when you go up to have your speech, stand slightly to the side of the top table, facing right, it will mean each of your speakers will be in perfect light so we can get some lovely photos of each of them.
Why do I love photographing weddings at Eastington Park?
The house is full of character without feeling too formal, the gardens are beautiful in every season with gorgeous mature trees, and everything flows so naturally from one part of the day to the next. It means we never have to rush around searching for photo locations because they're everywhere.

getting married at Eastington park?
It's perfect for couples after that luxury country house feel, minus anything stuffy. The whole venue practically encourages mingling - guests spilling onto the terrace, drinks in hand, soaking up the grounds all day long.
I especially love it for garden-party-style weddings. Give it a sunny day and this place truly comes alive - lawn games, terrace chats, everyone making the most of those outdoor spaces.
Oh, and the food? Genuinely excellent. As a former food reviewer, that's not a compliment I hand out lightly.
If you want a Cotswolds wedding venue that's elegant, relaxed, and keeps everyone together under one roof, Eastington Park is well worth the visit.
Insider Tips for couples getting married at Eastington Park ...
Firstly, you want to plan golden hour portraits a little earlier than you usually would. This is because with the high tree line the disappears behind the trees about 30-60 minutes before sunset is clocked. This just means we need to nip out a bit earlier to get those golden photos but they look best in the gardens so it’s worth the earlier time – trust me.
Secondly, make sure you allow time for formal bridal portraits before your ceremony. In the main prep room, we can do any emotional letter reads, reveals, and final get-ready photos before you head down the aisle. They key thing is to allow more time for these moments than you think you’ll need so you can really get into the feels and not worry about the registrar knocking on the door mid dress reveal photo (it can happen)!

Planning a wedding at Eastington park?
Eastington Park Wedding Cost - A rough guide
- Exclusive hire of wedding venue
- Honeymoon suite use on night of wedding
- Stay at lodge the night before your wedding
- Lawn games, cake stand, post-box, table plan easel
- There is also the option to hire accommodation on site if you’d like to. Eastington Park can host up to 72 people overnight, so you can have everyone under one roof the night of your wedding if you’d like to. Double rooms are £135, and family rooms £165.
Catering isn’t included in the price of hire for the venue, so for a two course meal you’d be looking at £49 per person, and an additional £10 per person for canapes.
