Authentic, Natural Wedding Photography for Relaxed Couples

Eastington park Wedding Photography

Why is a great wedding venue for photography?

About Eastington Park

If you're thinking of getting married at Eastington Park, you're looking at a wedding venue that pretty much ticks every box.

It has all the character you'd expect from a beautiful manor house wedding venue, but without feeling dark, dated or overly formal. The interiors are bright, airy and neutral, which means your flowers, styling and colour palette really get a chance to shine in your wedding photos.

One of the things couples often love about Eastington Park is how easy it is to get to. You're only a few minutes from the motorway, but once you're here it feels like you've escaped into the countryside. You get all the charm of a Cotswolds wedding venue without asking your guests to navigate tiny country lanes for an hour.

As a Eastington Park wedding Photographer I must say the gardens are gorgeous too, especially in the summer months. The terrace with its cream parasols is perfect for cocktail hour, the sunken ceremony space feels wonderfully intimate and there are endless opportunities for beautiful Eastington Park wedding photos throughout the grounds.

And if you're anything like my couples, you'll definitely be stealing ten minutes away for golden hour portraits amongst the trees before heading back to the party.

Why do I love photographing weddings at Eastington Park?

As a wedding photographer, Eastington Park is one of those venues I'm always excited to return to.

The biggest reason? Light.

Almost every space throughout the venue is filled with natural light, which makes such a difference to your wedding photos. Skin tones look natural, colours stay true and everything feels bright and timeless rather than dark or heavily edited.

The variety is incredible too. Within a few minutes' walk you've got elegant interiors, sweeping staircases, mature trees, open lawns, hidden corners for portraits and plenty of space for guests to relax. It means your gallery feels varied without us having to disappear for ages to create it.

For couples who want relaxed, natural photography, getting married at Eastington Park makes my job very easy. Whether we're capturing emotional moments during the morning preparations, confetti on the lawn or golden hour portraits in the gardens, there's always a beautiful backdrop nearby.

It's one of those rare venues where the photos look incredible in every season.

Whay type of couple should consider

getting married at Eastington park?

Honestly, if you're dreaming of a relaxed but elegant wedding day, Eastington Park is well worth a visit.

It suits couples who want the feel of a luxury country house wedding without anything feeling stuffy or overly formal. The whole venue encourages people to mingle, spill out onto the terrace with a drink and enjoy the grounds throughout the day.

I particularly love it for couples planning a garden-party style wedding. On a sunny day the venue really comes alive, with guests playing lawn games, chatting on the terrace and making the most of the beautiful outdoor spaces.

The food is also genuinely excellent (and as someone who spent time as a food reviewer, I don't hand out that compliment lightly).

If you're looking for a Cotswolds wedding venue that's elegant, relaxed and designed to keep everyone together under one roof, Eastington Park is definitely one to add to your shortlist.

Insider Tips for couples getting married at Eastington Park ...
Firstly, you want to plan golden hour portraits a little earlier than you usually would. This is because with the high tree line the disappears behind the trees about 30-60 minutes before sunset is clocked. This just means we need to nip out a bit earlier to get those golden photos but they look best in the gardens so it’s worth the earlier time – trust me.

Secondly, make sure you allow time for formal bridal portraits before your ceremony. In the main prep room, we can do any emotional letter reads, reveals, and final get-ready photos before you head down the aisle. They key thing is to allow more time for these moments than you think you’ll need so you can really get into the feels and not worry about the registrar knocking on the door mid dress reveal photo (it can happen)!
