Authentic, Natural Wedding Photography for Relaxed Couples

Elmore Court Wedding Photography

Why is IT a great wedding venue for photography?

About Elmore Court

Oh my goodness, Elmore Court. I am IN LOVE with this wedding venue. It's also a local venue to me which I'm so lucky to be able to say. If you're looking at Cotswolds wedding venues, or perhaps you've just booked Elmore Court for your wedding, this is a little insider's guide from a Cotswolds wedding photographer (sorry, gotta get those key words in there to please Google) on all the beautiful spaces you can use and how to make the most of your wedding photos here.

This Grade 2 listed mansion is literally what people think about when you say a English manor house. The long sweeping driveway, the gorgeous flowerbeds surrounding the lawn, the oil paintings everywhere and long grasses surrounding it - utter perfection. As well as being a wedding venue, Elmore Court also has loads of family history behind it so you really are picking a wedding venue full of character. The key thing here though is, you don't have to compromise on beautiful interiors to get a period property. It's decorated SO beautifully.

Think panelling, beautiful four poster beds, gorgeous pastel tones on the wall that are straight out of Farrow & Ball, it's got that homey vibe - but it is also an absolutely stunning backdrop for your wedding day. Here's everything you need to know about this space and how to make the most of it. All photos are my own. :)

Why do I love photographing weddings at Elmore Court?

One of the things I love most about photographing weddings at Elmore Court is how much freedom it gives me as a wedding photographer to create for you. The grounds are full of beautiful portrait locations, but they're spread out so we can wander, explore and create without feeling like every guest is watching us! It makes the whole experience feel relaxed, which always translates into more natural photographs. And then there are the treehouses... honestly, I'd come here just to stay in those. They're such a fun addition to an already incredible wedding venue!

Elmore Court feels luxurious without ever feeling cold or clinical. It has a genuine sense of home but every space feels elevated because of the level of detail put into them. The food is some of the best I've seen and the staff are always friendly and can't do enough to help. I also love that Elmore Court offers a Thursday wedding at their most affordable rate. Couples can even choose options that include access the night before, making the whole celebration feel more relaxed while opening this stunning venue up to a wider range of budgets. If you're looking for a venue that photographs beautifully in every season and will be the perfect backdrop for timeless wedding photos, it's very hard to beat.

Whay type of couple should consider

getting married at Caswell House?

If you're dreaming of a wedding that feels timeless and classic without being stuffy, Elmore Court might just be your perfect match.

It's ideal for couples who want a luxury wedding venue that still feels warm, relaxed and full of history. Whether you're planning an elegant black-tie celebration in the summer, or an intimate winter wedding, Elmore Court has the space and options so you can make your wedding day completely your own.

This is a wedding venue where you don't have to compromise. You get the gorgeous manor house feel, without feeling like it dominates your images. You also have a stunning rustic reception space but it's still bright and open so you get beautiful photos during speeches and you're able to still have the grounds visible from every direction.

My top tips for getting married at Elmore Court ...

1. Make time for an evening wander.
The grounds are gorgeous at every time of day, but golden hour (or even an hour or two before sunset) creates some of my favourite portraits. Build 15-20 minutes into your timeline so you can sneak away together and enjoy a quiet moment while we create some beautiful photographs.

2. Don't worry about the weather.
One of the biggest advantages of Elmore Court is that the inside is just as stunning as the outside. If it rains or you're getting married in winter, embrace it. You'll still have incredible backdrops and beautiful natural light for your wedding photos indoors, without feeling like you've had to compromise.

3. Consider a Thursday wedding.
If this dream venue feels slightly out of budget, it's well worth looking at Elmore Court's Thursday weddings. They're offered at the venue's lowest rate and often include access from the night before, giving you more time to settle in and enjoy the whole experience while making this incredible venue much more accessible.
