My 2025 wedding season started earlier than usual this year with the incredible wedding of Josh & Charlotte at the gorgeous Curradine Barns in Worcestershire. The weather gods were kind to us—no rain and just the right amount of sunshine, perfect for some relaxed wedding photos!
Curradine Barns Wedding Venue
As a regular Curradine Barns Wedding Photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of shooting at this venue many times, and it never disappoints. Just twenty minutes from Worcester, this Worcestershire Wedding Venue is tucked away in the little rural village of Shrawley. With its rustic charm and picturesque countryside views, it’s a dream for any couple looking for a barn wedding with character.

Bridal Preparations
The day started with bridal prep, and Charlotte wanted the morning to feel chilled—no staged details, just natural moments with her wedding party. The Prosecco was flowing, the playlist was on point, and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. Charlotte’s dress, a stunning Morilee gown, was a classic beauty, and she looked absolutely stunning.
After a few last-minute touches, I headed over to capture groom prep at Curradine’s Honeymoon Cottage and Farmhouse.

Groom Prep
The boys looked super sharp in grey suits with sage green ties, a combo that worked beautifully with the venue’s rustic tones. Groom prep is always a mix of last-minute tie adjustments, hair styling, and a good dose of banter, and this crew did not disappoint! We grabbed some quick, fun group shots before they made their way to the ceremony.
A Beautiful Ceremony & The Perfect Confetti Moment
One of my favourite spots for confetti wedding photos at Curradine Barns is just outside the glass doors. It’s the perfect backdrop, with the beautiful venue and lush greenery framing the shot. Charlotte and Josh were showered with petals and pure joy as they walked through their cheering guests—definitely one of my favourite moments of the day!

Fun Family & Couple Portraits
After the confetti fun, the newlyweds caught up with their guests over drinks before we gathered close family for group portraits. I always plan this part carefully with my couples in advance, so we get through them efficiently, leaving plenty of time to just enjoy the day.
For couple portraits, we took a relaxed stroll around the venue. The black timber walls near the car park created a stunning contrast with Charlotte’s dress, and we followed the golden sunlight for some dreamy walking and dip-kiss photos beneath the trees—absolute magic!

Wedding Breakfast & Golden Hour Magic
The reception space at Curradine Barns is full of natural light and has a gorgeous neutral aesthetic, perfect for any wedding theme. Josh & Charlotte opted to have speeches first, which I think is such a great idea—no pre-speech nerves interfering with the meal!
Just before dessert, I spotted the beginnings of a stunning golden hour, so I whisked the couple outside for five minutes, and wow, was it worth it! The soft, warm glow was the perfect touch to their wedding gallery.

Cake Cutting & Dancefloor Fun
The evening kicked off with the cake cutting, featuring a gorgeous cake made by the groom’s mum, inspired by Charlotte’s dress (how special is that?!). Then it was over to the barn for the dancefloor moments, and let me tell you—this crowd knew how to party! I captured some epic moves before slipping away into the night to start working on their sneak peeks.
