When it comes to capturing the magic of a wedding day, finding the right Worcestershire photographer is key. Sam & Georgi’s beautiful wedding was a dream to photograph, filled with love, elegance, and stunning backdrops over the Worcestershire countryside.

Wedding Prep in local cottages
The day started with wedding prep at two nearby cottages which was a stones throw away from the church where the ceremony was happening. The couple had booked a second wedding photographer through me too which allowed us to capture both the bridal and groom prep simultaneously. Despite a rainy morning, the skies cleared soon after bridal prep and set the stage for a perfect summer wedding.
When it comes to wedding prep, I like to capture the day as it happens, the excited chatter, the blend of dresses, food platters and glasses of bubbles. I want to capture the essence of your morning, how it felt, how you interacted with your closest friends and family. The way Mum buttoned you into your wedding dress or Dad helped straighten your buttonhole.

A Beautiful Church Ceremony
After getting ready, Sam & Georgi tied the knot in a beautiful church ceremony, surrounded by their family and friends. The love and joy in the room were palpable, and we were able to capture some incredible wedding photos that will be treasured forever. After the wedding ceremony we braved the elements for a quick confetti photo before the heavens opened and I loved the laughter between the couple as they felt the rain, and confetti begin to descend!

Whitbourne Hall – A Dream Wedding Venue
Following the ceremony, the wedding party made their way to Whitbourne Hall, a hidden gem nestled in the Worcestershire countryside, just a stone’s throw from Crumblebury which is another wedding venue closeby. This breathtaking venue, built in the Palladian style, feels like stepping into Bridgerton. The Italian Parterre Garden and the elegant, classic décor make it an incredible setting for wedding photography. This wedding venue is only used as such a few times a year, as there are also people who live in apartments there, so it’s always really special to photograph a wedding there.

Portraits in the gardens
As a wedding photographer, I find photos always pop so much more when they’re taken outdoors. The backdrops are always gorgeous, the light is perfect and that allows me to capture the essence of the day so much better. It also enables my camera to better capture the colours and tones of the styling used as there’s no interior colour glare. As the weather was playing ball, we were able to take lots of candid photos of the guests, portraits of family and friends and couple portraits all outdoors which gave me lots of freedom to use movement and different locations to frame the images. I particularly loved taking the couple to the Whitbourne Hall maze where we got some incredible dip kiss photos by the fountain. Wow!

Wedding Breakfast
When it came to the wedding breakfast and speeches, the Drawing Room was absolutely stunning. With traditional wood floors, red drapes around the windows and incredible detail on the walls, everywhere you looked the location was just gorgeous. Every speech was so heartfelt and there was a lot of emotion in the room. After speeches, the couple had BBQ food for their wedding breakfast which was a total hit with everyone and perfect for a summer wedding.
Whitbourne Hall Wedding Photos
Photographing Whitbourne Hall for a summer wedding was one of my highlights of 2024. The gardens and grounds were so well looked after and made the perfect backdrop allowing lots of space for guests to explore and catch up. The interiors of the house were so classy and timeless, giving a sense of grandeur and decadence. You really don’t need to do that much to a wedding venue that’s this beautifully decorated! Whether you’re planning a grand affair or an intimate micro wedding, if you’re considering getting married at Whitbourne Hall I’d love to capture your day and would happily return in a heartbeat.
As a Worcestershire wedding photographer, I feel so fortunate to have such incredible venues like Whitbourne Hall around the corner!
