Mollie and Luke’s wedding was one of those days that stays with you long after you’ve packed your cameras away. I already knew this lovely family, as they originally booked me for their second daughter’s newborn photos so being asked to be their Hereford wedding photographer for their wedding felt incredibly special.

Their vision was beautifully meaningful. They chose to get married on Valentine s Day, as it is also Mollie’s parents wedding anniversary, and they even tied the knot in the very same church her parents were married in. From the very start, this was a wedding full of heart and family history. The morning began with glorious sunshine in Hereford a rare and very welcome gift for a February wedding. Mollie got ready at her cousin’s house surrounded by her closest friends and her two daughters. The atmosphere was relaxed, joyful and full of laughter, and at one point the kitchen turned into a full-on dance party before it was time to head off to the ceremony.

After a short drive to the church, Mollie and Luke shared an emotional and personal ceremony and I can honestly say it was the first time I ve ever seen a bag for life gifted to a couple during a church service! It was such a perfectly them moment and had everyone smiling. Following the ceremony, we made the most of the sunshine for portraits outside the church, before guests showered the newlyweds in confetti. Mollie and Luke then made a stylish exit in a classic Rolls-Royce, heading through the city to their reception at Shack Revolution.

A Shack Revolution Wedding in the Heart of Hereford City If you re looking for a truly unique Hereford Wedding Venue, Shack Revolution is right in the centre of the city and offers an incredible urban, industrial feel. This Shack Revolution Wedding was a perfect example of how striking and modern the space can look. We took a few portraits outside the venue against the dramatic black exterior, which made Mollie’s dress pop beautifully. Inside, I captured the reception details and they were absolutely stunning. Mollie had chosen a clean, monochrome styling that worked perfectly with the industrial interior, and the fairy lights draped across the ceiling transformed the space as the sun set, creating the most magical starry-night atmosphere. The food was a real highlight for guests too. The couple treated everyone to a relaxed and delicious hog roast, followed by a local doughnut vendor and a candy floss stall which was a huge hit with both the adults and the children.

As the evening celebrations got underway, cocktails flowed, guests helped themselves to bags of crisps from the crisp wall for those late-night munchies, and the dance floor officially opened to Dancing Queen played in honour of Mollie’s mum. It was the perfect way to start the party. Mollie and Luke’s Valentine’s Day wedding was personal, joyful and full of thoughtful touches that reflected their family and their story so beautifully. Photographing their day from emotional church moments to an unforgettable celebration at Shack Revolution was an absolute pleasure.
