Maternity Photos in the Malvern Hills

In early April, I was so excited to photograph the gorgeous Laura and her family at the Malvern Hills as they awaited the arrival of their second baby. Laura chose to rent a couple of maternity gowns from Bump Drops, an amazing rental company, and I brought a gorgeous burgundy gown for our second location so she could have some choices within her photos of different looks.

It was important to Laura that we had a mini family shoot before we worked on her maternity portraits so we could capture their final months as a three. This is something that I can completely relate to having recently had my second child. Soaking up those final moments where it’s just you and your firstborn is so special for them and you.

As a Worcester maternity photographer, I’m so lucky to be able to work in such gorgeous locations like the Malvern Hills. There are so many epic backdrops to choose from and the sunset up there is absolutely gorgeous. It was a little overcast on this day but the sun did make an appearance peeking out over Ledbury which you could see from the hills. Being sunset, it was also nice and quiet where we were, so we could work at a leisurely pace, and just soak up every moment of Laura’s maternity session.

I was so grateful to be able to capture these moments for Laura, and we both did chuckle at how many people thought Taylor Swift was pregnant once I posted some of her maternity photos!
